Officepools Classic has been the most used and trusted pool site on the web since 1996. Even though it was always reliable and worked extremely well, it was built with software that is now somewhat outdated making it less flexible. This made it impossible for us to add many of the features that users have requested over the years. This new site has kept the same feel as Officepools Classic but will allow us to add these features such as historical data, graphs, creating a mobile version and many other features that will make your experience more interactive, interesting and fun.

What is the status?

We have experienced quite a few issues with the database and servers and we have been trying to fix them by working around the clock since the hockey season started. We have been working towards the development of this new software over the past 2 years and, although we tried to predict where the issues would be, you don't really know what might occur until the traffic starts hitting the site. Many of the issues have been fixed but there are still a few remaining which we hope to have resolved this week. The good thing is the actual hockey player stats do not change and all your pool information and picks are safe in our data base so once we get the bugs out, everything should be back to normal. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and your fellow poolers, we know how important this is and we are doing everything to speed up this process. There is still a lot of pooling left, we are still only one week into a 6 month long season.

Do I have any Other Options?

Many poolies want something that runs perfectly now, which is why we've put up our new site under the URL OfficePoolsClassic.com for you to use. Unfortunately, you'll have to re-register / re-enter your teams on our other site. This switch can be made now or anytime throughout the season and if you would like any assistance making the switch, please let us know.
